Here are these Small Gestures of Love from Stéllaire’s Chain of the Heart in Spain, which make the world a little more human and more fraternal. Judith
My neighbour, a baker in Hospitalet (a Barcelona suburb) who, « after a little grumbling», agreed to keep Cristobal’s shopping trolley for a few hours, so that he could update his file at the unemployment office, with the social assistant. He’s hoping to receive a small nest egg and thus be able to leave the street for good.
The gestures of love of doing the washing for a person living in the street. Of keeping her suitcases at my place while she’s looking for work, and until she finds her own room or flat.
Belen’s new gesture of love, going through her wardrobe and preparing the clothes she doesn’t use for me. She gave them to one of the homeless young women, who hardly has a change of clothes and who wanted to feel « feminine » and « beautiful » again.
The gesture of love from my friend Juan, that’s how I see him, who gives me a discount on photocopies, while also helping street people to put together their CVs to give out everywhere in order to try and get a job interview and then a job.
The gestures of love, the distribution of pieces of pizza and biscuits that have been given to me, have earned me, from one of the Polish street people, the affectionate nickname of « Mrs Pizza » or « Mother Pizza », which really makes everyone else laugh. !

News from the Chain of the Heart
The gestures of love from people working in Barcelona’s bars (« Goya’s », « La Principal » and « el Bracafé ») who keep bottle tops for me, which I use in my « Ludi-ambiente » artistic recycling. They know that part of what I earn goes to the small family (of street people and people from other countries) I look after at the moment, and also helps me to earn a little money, through this social economy project.
P.S. : All my gratitude to Rosi and Lisando at Muccis for the fraternal gesture of love and good will, to Mateo and Erez, for having made the photos for this article possible. I am infinitely grateful to them for the time and effort they have given. Thank you !!!".
The gestures of love of going to hospital with someone simply because she’s asked you, because she feels so fragile and vulnerable.
